Suzanne Dix Kaliko grew up in rural New York, studied painting and drawing at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and has called Hawai'i home for more than 30 years. A lifelong artist and teacher; she spent ten years as resident artist at the Four Seasons Hualalai. Inspired by the animal tales and picture books she loved as a child, Suzanne now shares real-life adventures of Oink and Cluck. Through her stories and illustrations she celebrates the joy of friendship, the beauty of animals, and the magic of creativity.
